Paralympian Steve Emt spoke with South Putnam High School students today about how choices matter and overcoming incredible challenges. He explained that each of us must D.E.C.I.D.E. to be the hero of our own life. He spoke about determination and resilience and care for others. P.E. classes were out on the football field enjoying the beautiful weather and the new turf. Finishing touches are being made in the area as we prepare for our upcoming scrimmage and first game.
South Putnam welcomes Mr. Chris Proctor, our new JAG coordinator. The Jobs for America's Graduates program assists students in earning credits toward graduation while helping them build employability skills and "expand their horizons through business contacts, unpaid and paid internships, guest speakers, mentors and community projects."
